Can these poles damage a plastered ceiling?

Only if you over extend (height)  the length for the area it is used in. For example, never force a pole in place. In the case of the Cargo Poles the answer is definitely yes. The crank mechanism can most definitely apply enough pressure to crack or puncture a ceiling.

Have you tested them all?

Yes. Daily. On our job sites, we try to meet every possible challenge we might encounter. Some poles are better suited for some applications however.  You need to read the reviews for each pole before ordering or call us for the personal touch. See the helpful Pole Decision Making chart.
